Here, the legendary president of EB Films discusses the 'unique contribution' of educational film to curriculum and learning. The film is geared toward instructors, and provides examples of mediated instructional techniques from filmmakers such as Roman Vishniac and John Barnes.
Makes obvious the nature of older film in losing its coloration. Using software I have been able to somewhat "fix" older footage, but once a given color tone is completely gone, it cannot be fixed. In the case of this print, the yellow is almost completely gone. I'm glad there's a better quality print to compare it to. This also explains the urgency to save old fims before they become too faded out.
